Back on Line

This week Bob has fought both cancer and comcast.  He woke up early Thursday morning and followed the instructions for a comcast update.  The result was no internet service at all.  The timing was probably a coincidence as we needed a new modem.  It took along time on the phone and visits by two different technicians to solve the problem.

Bob started the week stronger, had chemo on Tuesday and a blood transfusion on Wednesday, and started to feel weaker by the end of the week.  This is not unexpected.  He is still eating but has gone back to softer food.  He has also been a little more tired.  He has chemo again this Tuesday followed by a week off.

Today I turned 62.  Marshall and Karyn and Elliott and Betsy came over for a festive afternoon which included mimosas and an improvised birthday cake.  They made the day special.

We lost our AT&T modem after the storm last week. I think it is "modem season" (or the storm wiped us both out).

Happy belated birthday. So glad the kids and their family came over to celebrate.

  2. I hope the chemo went well today (Tuesday) for you Robert. I hope the comcast battles subside too.

  3. Hope your chemo today is not too long and exhausting. I, too, have been fighting Comcast - trying to get TV in our condo. Happy belated birthday, Paula. Will try and keep in better touch now that the move is over.
